Carol is not your typical accountant. After finishing her music degree at Southeast Missouri State University, she was hired for accounting at a small CPA firm in Lenexa, KS, and found it was a perfect fit for her particular, detailed brain. Since 2004, before branching out on her own, Carol worked as a QuickBooks consultant in a CPA firm in downtown Kansas City, MO. She is QuickBooks Online Certified.

Volunteering is a passion when Carol isn’t busy with work and home life with a husband and two kids. This is where her music degree comes in handy to perform with the American Legion Band of Greater Kansas City and she has done so since 2009. You can see her giving her time and skills at many of the veterans’ events around the Kansas City area. Along with the band, Carol also volunteers for Special Olympics Kansas and a smaller, local group, the Kansas City Heroes.
