When you start your QuickBooks Online subscription through Clover Accounting Services, you will receive a discount for the life of the file under our wholesale pricing. Prices will depend on the level of QBO and the current prices that QuickBooks advertises. If you're getting a discount through your current accountant but you wish to switch accountants, the discount should be able to follow you to our billing, as long as QuickBooks offers that option.
This service can be done any time, whether you’re just starting out or if it’s time for a software change. We’ll need a few things from you in the beginning, and then we’ll review the chart of accounts and other items with you to make sure you have what you need to get started.

General ledger reviewing is a detailed look at your business’s books. We’ll make suggestions or make corrections, depending on your preference and agreement with us. Reviewing payroll setup or entries can also be done, if needed.
If you have your own bookkeeper doing the day to day entries, but you want another set of eyes to reconcile the bank and credit card accounts for you, this is where we can come in to help. Linking QBO to your bank does not reconcile your account - it only adds downloaded transactions if you match or approve them to be added. This can sometimes mean duplicate entries and income or expenses entered incorrectly. Reconciling is one of the best ways to keep a check on fraud, as well. We still recommend you look at each bank and credit card statement even if we do your reconciliations.
In addition to reconciling, we would handle regular bill paying, credit card and debit card entries, and recording income - including using Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable if you use those options for your business. We can find a system that works so this part of running a business is less stressful. We will never ask to be a signer on your checks and we believe in getting permissions for all online payments we make so that you’ve got more control over your money. You must be local to the Kansas City metro area for this option unless you choose to print your own checks and make your own deposits.
